About our popular Living is Giving presenter

Wah Sim Chan is our presenter in and around Sydney. Originally from Malaysia, Wah Sim completed his accounting degree in Perth, before returning to his native soil as a CPA. After working across Asia and Europe, Wah Sim decided that Australia was where he wanted to be, emigrating in November 1978.

Wah Sim began working for the Uniting Church Board of Mission in December 1987 as an accountant, leaving the Board 18 years later in 2005.

These days, Wah Sim finds himself just as busy being a grandfather to five little angels, while serving as an Associate Pastor for Maroubra Christian City Church.

Wah Sim enjoys taking time to speak to congregations about Living is Giving and how it offers Christ’s love and compassion to communities and individuals who need it the most.
